Ketelhuis is located in the former ‘Forbidden City of Philips’, in the middle of Strijp S. Purpose-built in 1929 to generate compressed air and electricity for the industrial area, the supplier of energy for the surrounding factories.Six years ago we gave this monumental building a new function. We started a restaurant and soon expanded with a bakery, cocktail bar and recently a second restaurant on the upper floor. Downstairs we serve dinner in three or four courses, imn the restaurant upstairs we present dishes to taste and share.
Here our chefs work with love and attention, with ingre-dients that we find close to home. Our cows don’t fly.
The bread comes from our own bakery, honey from the bee colony on the rooftop, the vegetables and herbs from our own garden. We work with whole animals.
We cook using fresh products, our menu changes weekly. Here, simplicity tastes good.

'Vuurkeuken' - upstairs restaurant
The versatile first floor of Ketelhuis is primarily in use as our second restaurant, where we cook on open fire. We serve dishes and wine to share together. It’s the perfect place for larger groups to enjoy dinner. The restaurant is open on thursdays, fridays and saturdays from 18.00.
On occasion this space is available for seminars, weddings and other private events. We are always happy to talk about your wishes and our possibilities, you can reach us by telephone at 0031-(0) 634040299 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
When the sun is shining this is the perfect place to visit with friends or family. Take a seat on the cozy terrace and enjoy your drink, the weekend and each other. We prepare bites to share in the kitchen container. All is self-service, all is good.

Here we prepare your dinner on open fire. The dishes on the menu can be ordered per table, to taste and to share! We’re open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
